Very Wonderful Prophecy Study Bible!!!

I was researching information on books by Tim Lahaye when i came upon this Bible. I looked at the first few pages online and saw the great number of articles that were contained in it. They seemed very interesting. And then i saw all the charts and tables and it looked like a very nice bible. So i decided to order one, the genuine leather NKJV version. It was manufactured well and shipping was very fast. The study notes are a great addition to have. I will note that if you do not believe in a Pre-tribulation rapture, (Jesus will Rapture his church before the tribulation period begins) I would not advise you to order this simply because everything from the notes to the charts center around this truth. The Bible itself is a lot smaller than i had imagined. But don't let that draw you down. For the study Bible contains more information in it than i had anticipated as well. Overall, i am very pleased with the Tim Lahaye Prophecy Study Bible. I would reccomend it to people who are interested in Bible prophecy and eschatology and also to readers of the widely popular Left Behind series.

This Bible provides an excellent reference to the key prophecies, about half of which have yet to be fullfilled. Over 80 commentaries are provided by an assembly of the best Bible scholars of the last 50 years. The topics covered include the simplest concepts, like what is Hell, to the most complex - the prophetic relationship of Israel and Christ's church. This Bible will help reinforce, in the layman's mind, the infallible and prophetic nature of much of God's word.

This is an awesome Study Bible for serious students. There is a wealth of information contained in the study notes, articles, and charts. This is a great resource, edited by some of the foremost scholars in the field of Biblical Prophecy. Their love for Jesus Christ and the Word of God is clear.

every kid can learn to read

The Blue book and Gold book (headway program) were a popular curriculum in the 70s and 80s. It taught phonics. By returning to past curriculum(s) that worked, we can go back to all kids learning to read. I use four books to bring kids up to high school level. The Blue and Gold books headway program, breaking the code (based on Blue and Gold book style) takes the kid to 5th grade level, then finish with Rewards by Sopris West which takes the kid to 10th grade level with speed and proficiency. Four books to move from total non-reader to proficient high school level. Not only amazing...but repeatable.

Breaking the Code and Rewards have newer editions but I am not sure if they are as good as the original.
The blue and gold book are out of print...watch for $20 to $30 used copies.
Rewards at sopris west has updated to a range of books but I have not tried them.

These are the four books I use. One hour per day takes about 4 weeks per book: 16 weeks to proficient readers.
In a Saturday moring program, you can do 4 chapters. It would take between 5 and 6 Saturdays for each book.
I have taken many 12th grade (even special ed) nonreaders through these programs. It works.

The headway program is no longer in print, and even used books are not to be found.
The copyright has expired.

I wish open court or some other publisher would reprint these, but until then use the online copy.

THE book for high end aducation

We are fortunate that old teacher told us about this book. This book was published before American education system lowered the standard... last two times. My 5 y.o. son actually reading NEW and unknown words mostly correctly being though just 1st half of it.
In addition to the book we re-write each new word from the book 5 times, and write a sentence with it.
