Outstanding Book for All Humans

A Dog's Journey is the sequel of A Dog's Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron. This book is truly amazing ,and I loved every page and chapter. The story starts with Buddy a good dog, an old dog from A Dog's Purpose. Buddy thought his purpose in life was completed by loving and caring for Ethan. Ethan was his human in A Dog's Purpose but he died. Buddy soon realized he was able to love and care for more than one human when he meets Clarity June (C.J.) Ethan's granddaughter. C. J. was left unattended by her mother, Gloria, a miserable, selfish person and gets into a lot of trouble. Buddy sees her needing help and knows Ethan would want him to watch over her. Buddy is reborn several times throughout the book and comes back as male/female dogs meeting many people and having many purposes. His main journey back each time is to locate C. J. because he feels she really needs him. This book reflects many thoughts through a dog's mind, and is a wonderful book for ALL dog lovers, non-dog lovers, and ALL HUMANS. This book left me smiling, laughing, and shedding many tears, but when I was done I had the true feeling of how a dog, or any pet may feel. They love humans unconditionally, and are sincerely loyal wonderful "fur babies."

Nothing can meet or beat "A Dog's Purpose" (to me)

I wanted to love it... I really did. I loved "A Dog's Purpose" more than any book I ever read... but this one is just not as good. I liked the dog(s) but not the female lead character, her life or her family ... most of the book I felt sad. I wanted to finish it to get it over with (I'm sorry!).
I'm glad it has good reviews from so many, maybe it's just the place I'm in life right now; I admire Bruce Cameron and what he has written.

Beautifully Book by Bruce Cameron

I read the first book "A Dog's Purpose"a couple of years ago. I just now finished this one in a few days because I couldn't put it down. It was thought provoking, contemplative and makes you wonder all the possibilities. The ride taken with the dog's journey makes you think of life's lessons on an even deeper level. There is laughter, tears and many other emotions experienced. I loved this book so much and loved the ending. I think I will now go hug my three Border Collies and Heeler. Two of my Border Collies are R.E.A.D. Program Dogs and I had a former Therapy and Crisis Response Border Collie. After reading this their work took an even deeper meaning to me.
